New President And CEO Announced  - Chairman Richard Tardiff and the KV Federal Credit Union Board of Directors has announced that Christine Devine has accepted the position as the new president and chief executive officer effective April 1, 2010.  Devine has held the position of vice president and chief financial officer for over three of her eleven years at the credit union.  As president and CEO, Devine will manage a staff of 23 at the two-branch $53 million credit union.  Chairman Tardiff stated that "Mrs. Devine was selected from a large pool of qualified candidates.  Her education, broad financial knowledge, experience, and relationships with the staff and will provide KV with a seamless transition".  Retiring President and CEO, Beverly Beaucage stated "I am personally delighted that Christine agreed to accept the position.  Christine will pursue fresh goals and conveys a thoughtful, vital and imaginative leadership that the membership and position requires".  Devine is the daughter of KVFCU past director, Richard Breton and is active in community service as President of the PTO at Belgrade School, Treasurer of the Augusta Rotary Club and board member of the Belgrade Parks and Recreation Association.  She has a "strong connection to the French community and plans to bring "a new 'feel' to the organization through products, services, experience and genuine heart for the community KV serves".  Devine also is a participant in the 2010 Kennebec Leadership Class.
